After the numerous engine changes for the 2013 model which included a new piston design, new reed valve position on the crankcases, new main bearings supporting the new billet machined crankshaft, changes to the cylinder and head, new CDi programming and carburetion settings, new intake system with a new filter cage, air boot and carb manifold, new gearbox roller mechanism for more precise shifting and a new exhaust with a HGS silencer. TM have continued to push development further and the 2014 model has recieved yet more changes to enhance performance and longevity, a new piston design with a twin ring configuration increases compression stability and reduces blow-by to maximise performance under the harshest conditions, this new piston is matched to a revised cylinder configuration and carburetion settings, a new TMEES pulley and cable arrangement has been designed and fitted to again boost performance and reliability of the TMEES system. Other changes include revised suspension settings, the KYB fork fitted as standard, a new triple clamp design and of course a fresh new look to the decals with a new seat cover.
TM Racing ‘Factory’ rear shock absorber, KYB 48mm fork, billet machined aluminium hubs laced to anodised Excel rims, Billet machined aluminium triple clamps with damped handlebar mountings, oversize taper handlebar, oversize ‘wave’ braking discs, HGS exhaust system, V-Force reed valve system, billet machined connecting rod and a switchable twin map ignition system.
