After recieving many engine changes for 2013 which included a new clutch basket with a friction reduction coating combined with new fibre plates, revised CDi mapping and carburetion settings combined with internal ‘flow’ modifications to the crankcases, a revised gearbox shifter system with friction reduction coated shift forks and a revised powervalve governor system with modifications to the bearings, the TM engineers have been hard at work once again. For 2014 we have a complete redesign of the intake system which sees a rotation of the reed valve unit in a new set of crankcases, this new positioning system is tailored to the new air intake to maximise engine performace and response characteristics across the board giving better engine control throughout the rpm range with specific tailoring to the enduro machine over the MX counterpart. Other changes include new suspension settings, the new KYB fork fitted as standard, a new triple clamp design, a new silencer and a fresh new look to the decal with a new seat cover.
TM Racing ‘Factory’ rear shock absorber, Kayaba 48mm fork, Billet machined aluminium hubs laces to anodised Excel rims, Billet machined aluminium triple clamp with damped handlebar mountings, oversize taper handlebar, oversize ‘wave’ braking discs, HGS exhaust system, V-Force reed valve system, switchable twin map ignition system and a full lighting system EU compliant for road use.
